Elder Sign: Omens

I stumbled upon this game on iOS and its very very good. Its based on a real board game. First you create your team of investigators and then try to seal the ancient monster by collecting special blue signs. You can acquire them along with other items by finishing adventures on the map. It all gets complicated by monster, glyph locks, midnight events and other stuff.

It might be a little confusing in the beginning but once you figure out how things work its really interesting. I played only one game but I am hooked already. Only one of my investigators made out alive with 1 Doom point away of loosing the game lol but still managed to win it somehow even though it was my first game ever!

Every investigator has unique ability and starting items so possibilities are endless. I ll just suggest picking the multitasker girl, she is gold!

Actually the game has a really easy learning curve to it. You just need to learn the basics, all the rest is matter of strategy and approach. Worst thing I came up on an adventure is terror that makes you loose that same adventure and one of the tasks involves getting 3 terror glyphs.... insane!. Dont ever enter that one without a Clue or two.

Here s the dice table so you can all know easier the chances of getting each particular glyph which is crucial.



This game is a pure gem. I ll probably even purchase Cthulhu add-on
