Text-based zombie apocalypse survival game. Play as either a human fighting to survive & thrive, or a zombie shambling through the streets eating the brains of others. No NPCs, every character is a player. Action Points are restored at the rate of one every half hour - check back later in the day, or tomorrow, to continue.
Not a big fan of that system...

Anyway, what's that game all about? So I started as a zombie, and I'm sort of hurping and durping around, is that all I can do? Basically you just try to kill members of the opposite "race." It's more fun if you collaborate with other players & form a group (simple name for that game's version of guilds), then coordinate your attacks. But yeah, all you do at first is limp around playing zombie. If you land on a building that has barricades, you should have the option to attack them (don't ever try to hit barricades with teeth, will do nothing...), when you break them down you get XP to spend on skills. I think it's more in-depth if you mainly play as survivor but it's up to you. |

Ok, I've tried to play as survivor, and it doesn't seem to be all that different... Managed to kill one zombie at half health, the rest of them have massive health.

you've used your limit up yourself,
you're sharing a computer or a network with someone who's used up the IP address's limit, or
you're using an ISP (such as AOL) that reuses a very small range of IP addresses. "

" Marvelous! They don't really enforce that. I've gotten a "WARNING: 9 MOVES LEFT" message when I had maybe 20 ap left, used the 9 turns, logged out & logged back in: no problem. |
