Hi guys, I have decided to enrol in a bachelors degree next year for fun. I will be majoring in biblical archaeology. Just thought I would let you guys know It's just for self interest. Pete

cool. i love archeology. I often read books about it specially the ones about pre dynastic Egypt... not sure what biblical archeology means tho.

Biblical archaeology is trying to work out if events of the bible actually happened. Traditionally biblical scholars have tried to prove events from the bible actually occurred, such as the exodus. I believe however that these events never happened and would like to be able to review the evidence and show the world why belief these events are historical fact is unfounded

Yup, unfortunately I don't believe there was a single person called Jesus who actually existed. I'm now becoming convinced that many events attributed to him were in fact myth.
