What's spades, haha? Hearts is more strategic than Yugi-Oh and Shadow Era combined, I rage quitted 3 times in a row because I got unlucky, not because I played badly

The variation with big heal has probably less variance but it's less played, I wish that Polish website had more traffic.

Hearts is a commonly played game in Holland irl. Though it has different rules depending on where you are in the netherlands. Where I live all hearts are 1 points, queen of spades is 5, jack of clubs is 2. So for a total of 20 points a game, also again the rule that if you get all points, opponents get 20 points instead of the 26 from windows.
It also has a common variation, that as soon as one person crosses the 50, you now need to collect as many points to get back to zero (points are now deducted), so if you did well in the early half, you can go really fast in second half.

Hearts is the inverse of my favourite game in the world: bridge.
In bridge, you aim to win sets, players play a card one by one and the largest card wins the set.
However, utilizing the trump suit will always win cards of any other suit.
In the flip side, hearts is about not winning a set. Bridge rules still apply (but there is no trump suit). Now you avoid gaining sets with hearts in them, and you try to toss as many of them to other people as possible. Each heart is worth 1 point, Queen of spades is worth 13 points.
Needless to say, points are bad.
Want to test the sharpness of your mind, play several rounds of bridge, followed by hearts, then alternate.
