I chose elf archer and Orc warrior. Some of them seems pretty good but with a crappy hero I cannot make it past further on the campaign. I also don't know how to check hero ability before I pick them

I chose ORC warrior He's strong! Congrats! His ability is like, your minions receive 2 damage but your opponents minions' attacks will be reduced by 4. Right?

I've been playing it as its available on Android. I'm using a chaos necromancer and so far I've managed to get past the first 2 islands in the campaign (48 matches I think) as well as win a bunch of online matches.
The online match making system is terrible. Since the game has a curve based on your level, it makes sense to match up based on level first and then rank. I've been matched mostly with people around my level, but occasionaly I hit someone way above my level (but the same rank because they purposely lose rank) and they have like 100 health to my 40 health... you may as well just quit those matchups. Over-all, its fun, but nowhere near as deep as SE. Strategy comes down to, do I place a minion in front of my opponent's minion or on a space without an opposing minion... It also seems like the cost to make a consistent deck will be way out of reach of most casual games as it looks like it will cost more than $100. With such a high cost of card acquisition and the functionally broke matchmaking system where there is a handicap based on your level, this game will never be able to build up a following of elite TCG players. This game is built on the premise of, if you spend the most money you can win, rather than if you are the best player you win.
Having said that, my only online losses have been to opponents way out of my league and I am also enjoying the offline campaign a lot. Obtaining new cards also has a certain mystique about it which is fun. I can't imagine this game holding my interest too much past the campaign, but as of now I am enjoying it even with the shortcomings. I was able to get enough in game currency (without spending real $$) to get 1 rare so far and I got a pretty awesome 6CC dragon. I think it's about a 13/15 and when it does damaage it gives all of your other minions +2 attack for that round so you always want to play him in the space nearest your hero. I won't spend $$$ on a game like this as it seems like a bottomless pit.

Whoa that's a great card! I'm just on 2nd island at the moment... It's kinda weird to lose against a wild boar Lol! I also play this casually...

Are you on the irc now? Lol Sorry I wasn't on the IRC. Most of the times I post on the forums is from my ipad. So odds are...I'm bored in class and just feel like posting or I'm too lazy to turn on the computer.

I ve played a lot on this game..i finished all the 3 islands, but in online match is annoying: for me in this game will win pleople that spend a lot of money to buy "booster pack"...for example i lose facing lot of people that have an ally that do 10 points of damage on my hero after casting it(i saw people with 3/4 of this cards), and it is a really rare card!! For this reason i choose to stop playing and start SE that is a really balanced game!!
