helps with mindset during drafts (if you take drafts somewhat seriously
EARLY GAME HEROES (as the game goes on, they fall in strength in comparison to other heroes)
WARRIOR - Leoric ASSASSIN - Valeera, Kerrigan SUPPORT - Tyrande SPECIALIST - Zagara, Xul
ALL ROUNDERS (their relative strenght is about even during all stages of the game)
everyone else XD
LATE GAME HEROES (as the game goes on, they become stronger and stronger)
WARRIOR - Cho'Gall ASSASSIN - Gul'dan, Butcher, Kael'thas, Illidan, Nova, Raynor SUPPORT - Lucio SPECIALIST - Medivh, Azmodan, Murky, Abathur, Nazeebo

I wouldn't say Butcher goes stronger, he just sucks, sadly. His rework turned out to be nerf. In late game he just blows up and is largely irrelevant imo.

Butcher needs a team built around him to really shine. I saw some teams in TL running Medivh Tassadar combo with him. Its quite good in the lategame he is nearly unkillable with all those shields and selfheal. In QM and solo HL he isnt really good tho.
I think what you are saying is more true for Zagara, was my go to Spec but after they reworked her talents she barely deals any damage at all (compared to how she used to be atleas).

Butcher still can be easily controlled and he doesn't hit that hard and really immobile. He's unlikely to get the chance to stand there and tunnel someone down, that's the main problem.

butcher is a late game powerhouse and that is a fact noone can deny the problem is that he has a ton of counters and very mediocre kit (as do most heroes sadly)
and you're wrong, he is stronger after rework, but still has the same problems because his kit stayed the same

butcher is a late game powerhouse and that is a fact noone can deny You say that with so much authority, yet nobody plays him because he's so bad and his rework is complete failure (if they tried to make him playable). No, the problem is that his numbers are low, plain and simple: he can't kill anyone one on one, which he's supposed to do. Meat mechanic made worse, forcing him to farm half a game and when complete, it actually doesn't improve him by that much. What they should do is ditch that completely and make him stack attack power from hero and minion kills like with marksman talents of other heroes. Dude, I'm a master butcher, he's the one of the few heroes that I like and I actually played him a lot before rework and tried him after - he feels weaker. Weak in early game, irrelevant in late game. He really needed an upgrade since heroes like Li-ming can one v one him which is clear indication that something is wrong since he's supposed to counter such heroes.

dude you're a silver player, you're not a master of anything 1500 dmg with 3 auto-attacks squeezed in 1.5 seconds is insane in late game he can kill every hero in the game 1 on 1 but this game is not based on dueling
and ming is one of the least dangerous heroes for him, much worse are heroes that cc him

dude you're a silver player, you're not a master of anything If rank shaming is your best argument then there's nothing even to talk about with you.
