An official welcome back is in order I believe So welcome back Raph! Back at Se forums and the game, that is. I have always been like a rat scurrying around the underground sewers of bp citadel, never truly gone from bp. (Now that the turtles has grown up, time for me to flex my rigid muscles again.)

Haha! Great to Portal Maj is still kicking!
If I knew what any of the cards were at this point I would chime in.
*...wistful nostalgia...sigh...*
Take care old friend.

Aw memories. Your brutal portal deck was one of the first ones I remember net decking. That and Mistah Boweh's Infinity Core Zal deck. Pleasant memories.
Glad to see you've managed to keep the dream alive. I'll check out some of your game.
I used to be a big portal maj player myself back in the day. I played about with Zhou's Slingblade deck and made some other builds (inc undead) in SF but found them to generally be too slow for the previous metas.
Will be interested to see how yours plays out now for sure

Always at your service, Master Splinter! Portal is coming back with Garina Road, but it's a human card... would be nice at shadow too.

Portal went away mainly because of the ubiquitous Brax Soldier, and Maj also got hit hard in DP by everyone running Furrion (fire resistant). If everyone goes tribal and drops Brax then portal might have a shot again even for shadow mages (without Garina).
I had some success running portal undead with Ravenscrest. Basically the location means that every Portal and Grave Resistance you cast is a cantrip which is pretty nice for a deck that is draw hungry. However Ravenscrest is (bizarrely) getting nerfed so this strategy might be short lived.
