The Rise of Threbin:ancient tales of Balor. Chapter 1: Beginnings End
The road to the high heavens is what many have dreamed to venture. Others want to destroy it such as the scheuth.
the Templars have protected balor for thousands of years even the battle has taken place in the high heavens.
it has been several millennias. Since the war on the high heavens where the scheuth and their alliance with the dragons took on the the heavens. defended by the Templars, allied with ancient yari millions died. Souls completely gone in the Great Void.
"what do you mean? that the legendary Mage known as Gravebone has been rumored to have been... Ressurected ?" asked by a boy with long blond hair.
"Threbin,my boy. I mean well! those rumors have come from those of wise and ancient power of wizards." Replied, by an old man with wrinkles and scars on his face. as if battle has been his whole life, secrets and mystery are embedded within the scars of this wise man.
threbin digesting the wisdom from the old man whom he has known most of his life as the master priest of all of balor. He always had to remind himself if it wasn't for this man, he would have perished from the great plague that had consumed most of balor taking hundreds of thousands of lives. But then again he retired from the priesthood to find solitude and serenity. But why did Jericho choose me of all the other priests, and their sons to be his apprentice? Is it truly fate? Has almighty Ellos choosen me to become a priest like Jericho the wise?
Jericho with those wrinkles and scars formed a warm blissful smile staring at Threbin, who was lost in thought as if he could read the boys mind as if the words were popping out of his skull and read them like a book.
"thr-" Jericho was cut off mid name from a strange and familiar air, a fear struck his heart and Threbin had a terrified look upon his face
"master" Jericho put his hand in front of his face chanting ancient words of prayer. That Threbin had never heard before .
The ground rumbled. "my old friend " said a high pitched voice that sounded as if 5 voices had spoke simultaneously. It unnerved him to the bone "your no friend of mine Gravebone!" Yelled Jericho it was a raging yell. but master Jericho seems calm though as if his thoughts are already collective. "Gaia patronus!" Shouted Jericho the rumbling emerged from the ground as a giant guardian made of earth had arise from the world itself!
"my guardian, in the name of Ellos. protect this boy get him away from here as fast as possible to the sanctuary of the ancient Templars!" ordered Jericho commanding the earthen protector. "Threbin my apprentice, tell wizent you need his guidance, and you have halfway completed your training. you have done well!" then Jericho faced Gravebone.
the earthen protector took Threbin, and embraced him in his barrier like hands. the behemoth then ran off to the north from the small village near tycer.
"do you think that boy is protected from that waste of breath creature? My powers have tripled Jericho, since last time we met. you will die!" A massive bolt of lighting came from the dead and white bone hands of Gravebone, and shot forth at Jericho
in a instant a staff of pure light came from jerichos hands. "Audro Patronus!" Shouted Jericho, and a ball of light encased Jericho, absorbing the sheer power of Gravebones bolt of lightning. Causing an explosion of massive proportions. leveling the small village to dust and debris. From the cloud of dust. Jericho leapt forward at Gravebone with such youth. it would have surprised any mortal. but not Gravebone. he expected Jericho The Wise to be just as agile just as he was, hundreds of years ago in the Great War.
Gravebone turned to dust. Jericho missed by only mere seconds, out of reflexive insight he turned around, summoning another shield of light. taking another bolt of lightning. How has he become so powerful? what ancient magic did he uncover in the great mysteries of ancient balor? Jericho pondered he knew this was a battle he could not win. To save the boy. he thought it's the only way he is our final hope. ancient words of power once more came from his lips. "sanctum diluvium" whispered Jericho, accepting his fate. "I'm coming Ellos. I'm coming to you! take me in your warm hands. I've done the best I could. I know I have failed, but I ask for forgiveness. The boy shall complete his mission. it's his destiny!
a massive tidal wave, consuming the two, and most of tycer. which now a crater, filled with a vast amount of water, the impact of the ancient prayer sounded louder then a thousand dragons roaring into battle.
"Threbin will defeat the lich king, it is his fate."
