Yo fellow guildsmates and pupils of BP!This is the REAL “Bobby-card” of the week #7 for you all to comment and discuss. As always tell me your thoughts on balance, possible combos and what kind of deck you could imagine this card being part of!

Really cool card art. Here is what I thought up.....
First, votars ring to increase the damage to the opposing hero. Second, treasured heirloom to boost attack to take down a bigger opposing ally. Finally, a legend rises to boost att/def (see above) and uncripple him to fire away on your opponents allies.

Attachments are one of the poorer methods of synergy with a card, so I personally wouldn't rely too much on them on an ally without steadfast. This ally will be pretty good for a control mage that wants to protect board constantly as its damage output is almost doubled when it plays for board.

Well, wouldn't a card like the scream out to a player using a wulven or warrior hero to disable him with captured prey or crippling blow? If he isn't dealt with he can deal a good bit of damage over time to the board and hero. That's what I was thinking about with suggesting a legend rises. Also, I'll admit to not knowing much about synergy since I'm still so new to everything. Oh, as mentioned above this ally would fit nicely in a portal deck.

All allies 5cc and above scream for attention from the opponent: doesn't mean that alr is a synergy with them.
In fact, the best synergies with this card are the natural mage burns, especially lightning strike, they can both kill an ally 6hp< and deal 5 damage to the hero.
I wouldn't recommend portal! The thing is that portal often requires you to abandon burn for allies, and flying 3 damage ally... Isn't the most reliable method to kill an ally, and it's a huge set up (portal first, ally later + hoping that the biggest threat on board can be killed by 3dmg ally) with not-amazing results. 2 dmg to hero isn't super huge.
To help with the logic, just look at wulven tracker, he can draw cards when he deals damage. Why not use him for portal? Because his attack is too low. Or, look at ogloth. He only has 3 attack and is seldom considered for portal decks.

Like any medium-good card for mages... it's OP! I don't know if I would prefer him to other 5cc allies in a Portal deck though.
