Naw Im thinking its this episode why else would they hold back ... hopefully anyway lol.
Just wish they went into more detail on "the rains of castemere" such a minor detail but soo vital to the overall plot and a big "WINK WINK" to whats coming if you know what I mean BAHA!
And no. Im staying in a hotel room that probably will have a TV but no HBO and Im not taking my laptop with me. sooo.

Read the books but not watched the show. Rains merely depicts the power of the Lannisters, nothing more.

Naw dude if youve watched the show youd know what I mean. ATM if you havent read the books all you know is what a 30 sec snippet of Cerseis tells u about the song. Her father had it written for a lord he had a dispute with and then he killed him blah blah blah.
You still have no idea why everyone fears not the Lannisters but Tywin. Specifically Tywin. Currently the way the shows progressed they fear House Lannister mainly because there the richest family in Westeros. You dont understand why even the little bastard that is Joffrey takes a step back when Tywin is advising him, nor do you understand why all 3 Lannister children heed his words.
Sad but Im a total freak when it comes to the small details like that. Mainly because the depth of the characters and there individual back stories is what drew me in and totally hooked me. Not to mention the fact that Martin gets you totally engrossed in there story line immediately before killing them off (Ned Stark for example)
Mr Martin needs to stop taking 6 year breaks in between books and get Winds of Winter finished before the TV show overtakes the story line. Because Id hate to see where HBO goes with it without at least a little bit of direction based on the books.

Dammit man, you've reignited my interest in the tv series! (I did not manage to watch beyond S1 Ep1 cos of RL)
Edit: I did read the books but does the show tell us more than what the books say?

Lol! honestly the show is a very nice addition to the books. S01 stuck very nicely to the books but started to slip a lil come S02 you dont get anything new its just nice to see the books in a TV format. put some faces to the characters you love.
BTW ... whoever did the casting needs to be shot lol. The only one who somewhat matched what I thought of when I read the books was Ned. Maybe a little when it comes to Daenerys. Other then that. not even close. Im mean Jaime... a pretty boy... really? lol
and sorry you didnt get to watch past s01e01 cause of RL?

Please no spoilers. I'm waiting till the finale and then going to get all the episodes and binge watch (haven't seen any of season 2 yet). I'm actually reading the books after watching the show. 2 reasons: I'm watching with my wife, and it's more enjoyable to watch together if we don't know the storyline. And 2: I've been disappointed with too many movies after reading the book. I know a tv show can't completely capture the depths of the book, so I'll first enjoy the show, and get the extra depths of the books, and avoid disappointment.

Trust me on this one you won't be disappointed either way. The show follows very very closely to the books with some minor changes and some of the minor characters from the books aren't mentioned simply because the world of westeros is soo large and soo many stories I can imagine it'll be impossible for them to fit everyone into a 10 episode run. what book are you on? If your about half way through the third book I'd suggest finishing it first before you watch the season Hope that helps. -ExiT
