I solo'd to 1 and I still solo at 1. Certainly there are frustrating moments and losing goes with the territory, you just can't get discouraged. I would love to play with a good team all the time but it just doesn't work with my schedule. I play games here and there and I can't have people depending on or waiting for me. To me I get less frustrated with HL. The draft format allows us to at least have some control. QM is a crapshoot in every regard. Yeah, yeah, speaking about control if you get Gazlowe first picked in your team, I would much prefer having no control at all.

well I started playing a bit, we'll see where I'll end up various gazlowes and butchers (without uther) are really annoying, but you don't have to win every game

Ok so I've spent some time on PTR and asking questions of some pro players. KT is still excellent but now is based more around a bomb build.
Jaina was def hurt by the WE nerf. The damage and chill debuff was a big part of her set ups for kills.
Kerri was buffed significantly. The meta didn't get totally thrown out though. Zera still op and Leoric still has everything that made him great. The nerfs while dead are mostly going to affect the keep push suicide strat. I don't think anyone really knows how monk is going do yet.

My assumption would be that Monk will just replace Reghar, same as Johanna replaced Chen (well, Chen wasn't good prior her, but idea is that they introduce similar character that is just better than the old one).

I doubt the monk has the heals to match reghar, but I like his mobility and damage very much...I think I may end up with 2 supports in my arsenal

Where as Regar's ultimate you have to time very carefully otherwise target will die or you will overheal, that's why his ultimate is not all that great because of its stupid delay.

I'm sure pros will immediately stop attacking the marked enemy for those 3 secunds...on the other hand vs extreme burst comps it will help for sure but his W healing radius covers just a rather small area around him and has quite a cooldown so we'll see

If you stop attacking, target escapes then, it doesn't matter.
Blizzard just introduce heroes very similar to existing ones but better.
Look for yourself: Kael is like Jaina (wouldn't say strictly better because Jaina is so good, but maybe a bit better, very similar hero though), Johanna and Chen, Butcher and Thrall, now Monk and Reghar.
I don't even want to buy Reghar right now because of that.

I don't find those heroes that similar...there are some similarities in mechanics, but there are also differences that make those heroes different enough to pick one over the other

They may be different but they serve the same purpose and some heroes are better at it than the others.

I don't see Monk replacing reghar. Sure their ults are similar but the monks small aoe heal is nothing close to reghar' chain heal. Reghar can use that when people aren't clumped and he can be in a safe position. Reghar also has an aoe slow and the monks biggest issue is no cc.
Anyway I think he may have a niche but I am skeptical of him replacing a dedicated healer except perhaps in specific dive comps.

I don't see Monk replacing reghar. Sure their ults are similar Similar? Monk's ult is outright better and infinitely easier to use than Reghar's. Small? As far as I'm concerned, it's more than Reghar's. True, but that doesn't matter because you probably won't save anyone with your heal if situation is so dire that you can't come closer to a target. Monk can actively defend/bodyblock and save target, potentially even killing the enemy because he does quite a bit of damage himself. He has no cc, but can increase speed of allies which is better since it can be used for chasing as well as escape, or even to get around quicker. You're underestimating him. He's supposed to be what Reghar is now. Healer that can also deal damage. He deals more damage than Reghar, I don't think there is question about that. His heal also is better, except for a range, which is not a problem because he can jump on allies, heal and actively assist them. His ultimates are A TON better, including damaging one, he can be specced as full blown assassin, where as Reghar only can deal accidental burst. You're forgetting Blizzard design philosophy: release OP heroes, make ppl buy them, then nerf later, rinse and repeat.
