The proper presentation for a deck is as follows:
Hero name
Allies (x Cards)
4x (lowest casting cost)
4x
3x
3x
4x (highest cc)
Abilities (18 Cards)
4x
4x
4x
4x
2x
Items (3 Cards)
3x
When listing allies, please list in order from lowest casting cost to highest. It seems like a small point, but it makes evaluating a deck much easier when you can see how many allies you have at each cost, without having to jump your eye back and forth.
Ideal start going first
T1: sac/card
T2: ideal card going first / 2nd choice card
T3: ideal card going first / 2nd choice card
T4: ideal card going first / 2nd choice card
T5: ideal card going first / 2nd choice card
Ideal start going 2nd
T1: sac/card
T2: ideal card going 2nd / 2nd choice card
T3: ideal card going 2nd / 2nd choice card
T4: ideal card going 2nd / 2nd choice card
T5: ideal card going 2nd / 2nd choice card
Deck explanation:
In this section you are explaining your deck and your key card choices. Notice, choices, not auto includes. You don't have to tell us why you have 4 fire balls in a Mage deck, 4 tidal waves in a priest deck, etc.
Start by explaining where you utilize this deck. Is it for grinding gold against the AI, tournament specific, or qm general. If qm, what rating decks are you facing?
What kind of deck is it? Late game control, early rusher, ally-less, semi-solo, weapon focused, ally focused, early game ally switching to late game solo etc.
Then explain your ally choices, especially by comparing to the other allies available at the same cost. E.g. "I considered shadow knight for my 5cc ally, but I found I was playing a lot of players using spirit warden, so his ability was useless, I've found furrion terrors come into play effect much more useful," or, "I was running plasma behemoth, but I found I never had enough resources to activate his ability, so shadow knight is working better as it supplements my draw from the graveyard."
Then explain unusual cards that this hero doesn't often run, e.g. "I've found lay low useful in lance because of this..."
Explain your key combo/ win condition, e.g. "With my zal late game I stop playing allies, I use anti- matter to draw my mind control and shadow font, I discard allies to the graveyard for a late game health boost from soul reaper, and try a combo of using zal blast, hitting with shadowvein and then using interference." Or maybe your deck is less combo based, your primary win condition might just be amber with jewelers dream and board control, or stacking all your fireballs and nova for a late game massive damage burst.
Finally explain any deviations from standard auto includes, e.g. "Most mages run 4 FB, but with all the furrion terrors running around it can sometimes be a dead draw, so I've dropped to 3 fireballs and added consuming fear."
