Wow Stalker, I love that. That is very similar to how my girlfriend and I do. Simple things brings the most joy in life. We just had a great night of just us together. I brought some bread, tuna, and some mayonnaise and we did toasted tuna sandwiches for a simple dinner. After that we watched a movie on my laptop and just chilled. And on the 15th is our anniversary date. It has been 16months now.

Lol. Mine was a total hit, the philosophy of lots of little things throughout the day keeps the good vibes flowing. A small gift in the morning with a note as to why it made me think of her, the handmade card, instead of her usual rice crackers and salad in her lunchbox I smuggled in popcorn and sushi. In each lunchbox I put one of those origami hearts (each one Saran wrapped) so she find them at tea time and lunchtime. Btw, those hearts are awesome for putting little notes or stuff inside. In the inside of one I put a little picture of the two of us, and in the other a poem. The in the afternoon I send her a valentines prezi with pics of us. For dinner I made Tom yam goong.
Btw, for those of you with kids, I highly recommend this: my daughter is the only kid in school who gets roses from her dad when he fetches her from school. I started doing this last year. Feels a little strange to go to an elementary school with roses, but if you want to make your daughter feel special...

I am sure your daughter will remember it for the rest of her life. You are setting high standards for your future son-in-law. Major props to u, man.

One of my major goals in life is to the set the bar for a future son in law as high as I possibly can, so that no douche bag can ever reach it. There's so many girls that settle for the first jerk that gives them attention cause they dad never gave them any...
We also go out one Sunday a month (I do with my son as well, but he's only three, so it's more for fun). Last two months has been a stunning rose garden in our area, we walk around for about an hour talking, play some catch. She can talk about anything she wants to. She's six, so right now it's nothing hectic, but I'm putting things in place for when she is older.

Kudos to you brother. What I find lacking in the society nowadays is intimate father-daughter relationship. Until she is married, a daughter's father is the one who is responsible to make her feel loved and a defender of her honour.
Many a times marriage fail in our current society actually originates from the lacking of relationship with their fathers when they are young.

Stalker, we should rename your title as Street Lover Champion....really undisputed. You made me feel so ashamed of myself. And to spoil the romantics, I reminded my wife yesterday that I am going for a night out with my BP friends today And glad that my wife did not bump into someone like you before....Kudos!

I am going to apply that to each of my kids and the missus too (been a long time since we deliberately set time aside to be together on our own). You are an amazing father and husband, Stalker. Keep it going for years to come!
