Hey Danny,
Welcome to BP! I upgraded your membership to probationary status. There is a thread with instructions on how to apply. It is pretty straightforward and painless.

Welcome! Hope to see your introduction about yourself and your deck soon. Btw, our acronym is Wotbp (or BP in short), not Wofbp...

I prefer wofbpb. WARRIORS OF FUCKIN' BLUE PHOENIX, BITCHES I motion for a name change. No wonder he conquered the north. He barely grazed us and we're already tempted to change our flag.

Welcome dannytheking. On this thread alone you should already be able to get a good feel for the atmosphere, which, mixed with a hardcore dedication to winning, is what things are generally like around here. So, if you're enjoying the banter, keep the application going

Thanks for the warm welcome, really appreciated Working on posting my Deck and introduction, by the way, I'm not familiar with the card name at the moment, can I use Deck builder to show the deck? I'm a King who leave his throne to claim victory on battlefield, and to prove a king doesn't need a throne to be the King. Thirsty for blood and glory on victorious path...... Sorry of getting the name wrong though A King always careless about names......

You can link to deckbuilder by all means, but some people (myself included ) appreciate a list. It's also a good exercise in learning card names, because the next thing you suddenly realize you need to know is the abbreviations for all the card names that everyone throws around, if you want to be able to follow discussions, especially on irc...

Yeah we tend to use a lot of abbreviations so you need to start getting used to it.

It's like a secret language. Ppl who try to AB or DoU a SW are noobs. Also don't CB a DMT(CP is good though) or PB or they can still hit, and they can hit around a VD, RD, or CoN. Even though all three of them could be SoN or SoV. PQ is good for WBT. ^See.

It's not as bad as magic's slang can be.
'If Prime Time connects to make 12post, Sad Robot may be obsolete but you can always Tiego Chan up a tutor for Crucible, then rock it Brown Recluse style. Soul Sister could be a problem, but there's a Leyline for that."

Acronyms are one thing, But Magic has slang for way more than card names. Everything from specific 75s to more overarching strategies and synergies to simply naming cards based on their flavor or the role in the set they're printed in.
Sometimes, cards are given names that have nothing to do with the cards themselves. For example, Tiego in the post above is Snapcaster Mage, so named because the player Tiego won a special hall of famer invitational, where the winner gets to work with wotc to design their own card that has their likeness somewhere on it. The most famous of these is Brian Kibler's Shadowmage Infiltrator.
And Kibler's a friend, so if you talk shit about Ascension I may have to punch you.
